This is a great open mic I've been coming out to this fall, hosted by trusty troubador Matt Meighan. Tons of talented Portland locals, with a tight-knit community feeling, and it takes place it the epicenter of the Portland folk scene: Artichoke Music. I'll have a 1/2 hour slot about 1/2 way through the evening, and the music usually goes until 9:30 or 10 pm. Come on out! Bring an instrument and a song! Or just bask in the warmth of some good old-fashioned music-making...
